Albuquerque Shopping and Albuquerque Shopping Districts
(Albuquerque, New Mexico - NM, USA)
Being the largest city in New Mexico, Albuquerque is a big regional center for shopping and is home to three of the largest shopping malls in New Mexico, two of which are within blocks of each other.
Albuquerque offers shoppers everything from handmade crafts and designer boutiques to big-name international brands. The Nob Hill district of Albuquerque has evolved into a popular shopping area sporting quirky shops and galleries, while Uptown Albuquerque has some large indoor shopping malls and the area around the Old Town's plaza is home to art galleries and fashion shops. For traditional handicrafts, beautiful jewelry and inexpensive clothing in Albuquerque, head for the flea market held at the fairground on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. The number of vineyards and wineries in the area also make Albuquerque a good place to pick up a few bottles of fine local wine.
